Wow, you were very early. Now with the multimedia projectors and interactive boards it has become much easier to do.
Our kids still carry a very heavy backpack with all their books and schoolwork, but I guess that all that could be in a single iPad. I think that all that will change in a few years |

Actually at that time me and my dad were sharing the same office and it was too much paper around. So, in one way, it all started by a need of clean up the table and organize the space. The other way was the need to implement new forms of presenting my works (I was studding at that time).
I bought my first modem in 94 and started to use the Internet with the first and unique ISP in Portugal. Not many people cared or knew anything about the Internet. It was seen like some kind of electronic monster. In 96 I made the Erasmus in Holland (that's when my love for the Dutch land started! ) and new perspectives started to boil in my head. I had to do something different! And that's when I came up with the Internet to present and share my works with colleagues and teachers and, at the same time, spend less money with paper and prints. The kids still take everything to school here too. We know that something will change in future but now the expectations are that everything it too much expensive. |
