Last week we went again to Momofuku Ko. Kia and Vera were ready on their website at 10AM the week before. Every day exactly at 10AM they give free the reservations for the day one week later. Within one second all spots are taken. You have to be fast and lucky. However, it turns out that some people that have the initial slot are somehow not able to finalize their reservation, and they go back in the pool. For five minutes Kia and Vera were refreshing the site very quickly, until Kia suddenly caught one slot. It was a very exciting....

I've been living in Manhattan now for a few months
and had good and bad 'foodie' experiences most of the following places have not only great food but definitely triggered an amazing atmosphere. Last night we went (again) to Dovetail at 77th and Columbus. Not hip and loud, but incredible food and a fantastic wine list. Great for a quiet, low key, relaxing evening.
